Once I get a cake covered in fondant I start to get nervous and rush the details. Can I slow down and take my time to be sure to get it right? I know that once it is on the cake it satys soft but for some reason I feel this pressure to get the deco's on as fast as possible. Please someone tell me it's ok to slow down and relax.

Once it is covered the cake will stay nice and moist.

Take your time. You have no reason to stress over getting it done quickly. Use water or make a fondant "glue" if other fondant parts won't stick to the cake.

take your time, if your fandant is sealed correctly around your cake it's as good as being in tupperware!!!

I don't touch my cake for 24hrs after I put the fondant on!!!

As for glue , I use tylose mixed with boiled water, you can also use warm, boiled water mixed with some fondant, mix to form a paste. I use Royal icing to stick larger things onto fondant.
