Hi Y'all,

Does this cake (White Almond Sour Cream) rise alot??? The recipe reads 1 14" and 1 6" cake. A single batch does not reach the 2/3 mark on my 14" pan.

Any advise is helpful.

According to Wilton, a 14" pan that is 2" deep requires 10 cups of batter and the WASC makes 14 cups of batter.

If you're using a 3" deep pan, you'd need 15 cups of batter to reach the half full level.
