Need Help Coming Up With Puppy/dog Cake

I was asked to make a puppy/dog cake for an 8 year old's bday and I am having trouble coming up with something that is big enough to feed everyone and still look awesome! There are going to be about 12-14 kids and then the adults as well. I would love ANY ideas that you can give me!

just scale up size to feed more.
