After a 10 year lapse in decorating a cake, I am renewing my passion again for the art. I am interested in teaching myself to make gum paste flowers. I am hoping that I could get some advice and feedback from anyone here on helpful books or videos to purchase to help in my learning. I would greatly appreciate any and all input!!
Thank you

one is old - Wilton's Celebrate Wedding Cakes that has a section about a Marie Grainger. The pics and instructions are pretty clear and simple. Also anoteher one for ideas is the essential guide to cake decorating that has ideas about using silicone blossom cutters and molds.

I don't think the wilton stuff is very good for gumpaste work. Try www.cakesbydesign.cc - scott clark woolley is an EXCELLENT teacher, and his books and dvd are wonderful. Expensive, but worth it. and the supplies he sells are top of the line.

I agree with jmt714. I've purchased many of the gumpaste cutters from Scott and swear by them. They are pricey, but the results are amazing!! birthday.gifbirthday.gif
