Hello Y'all,

Will MMF darken like buttercream? I am trying for black.

It will darken up after a few hours. If you need a lot of black, the easiest thing to do is add the coloring with the marshmallows when you melt them. Then you don't have to knead forever!

If you need a lot of black fondant, consider getting black Satin Ice.

It also helps to start with another darker color, like navy blue, to get to black quickly.

Also try kneading in coco powder
