I just got asked to do a wedding in Oct. They are wanting the bride and groom chocolate covered strawberries. Has anyone done these and if so, how much do you charge for them?

I've heard of people charging anywhere for 1.50-3.00 a strawberry. It depends what part of the country you live in I guess. Mabye you could look into what other bakeries in your area would charge?

You need to price out ingredients first, and then go from there. Strawberries aren't in season in October, and so you'll need to factor that cost it (of finding large decent ones), and then your cost of chocolate.

I can charge $2.50-$3.50 (depending on work involved and time of year) for mine, but I only use longstem and belgian chocolate. Like Amish said, it depends on where you live, and what the going rate is around you.

You dip them in white chocolate and then you can do several different designs. I stripe them in a "v" shape and then add buttons or a necklace. I've also done cornelli lace and just plain white with stripes. I think I have a picture in my album.
