of flip flops. I know several people have flip flop cakes posted in the Gallery but I need to make a really small pair (out of fondant). Does anyone have a pattern they would share? Thanks so much.

ok...answered his own questions...(tho' a bit of challenge working from size 11 flip flops...had to scan trace in two parts!!!)
the little dashes on the sides are where the straps connect and the circle is the where the part that goes between the toes connect.
(isn't this just a thrilling Sat. evening -- tracing flip flops! )

What do you mean Doug? Isn't that what everyone is doing? Sounds like a party to me!

Thanks so much Doug. Yep, it's pretty bad when all we have to do is sit in front of the computer and obsess (sp?) about cakes and flip flops!!! I'm actually going to leave now and get something to eat but you can bet I'll be back on here later. That is unless my cake decides to finish defrosting and "sweating" --- then I must complete the task!!!!! Viva to the rescue!!!!!! Thanks again.

Told you. Here I am again; just like I don't have a cake due tomorrow. Better get with the program, I guess!!!
LOL!!!
all I have for tomorrow are:
1) shop AC Moore -- 50% coupon
2) tame the laundry monster (oh I hate that!)
3) grade papers (teaching summer school...i must be deranged!)

I soo understand! I have to come up with some sort of dessert to make for a family get together at noon tomorrow morning and still haven't decided what! Plus I have to get up at 4:30 in the morning and go work for a good portion of the morning..... So who knows what i'll come up with since i've procrastinated this long!
All I have on tomorrow's docket (dockett?) is making a cake which I have NO CLUE on what I'm doing...it's small lol...and dinner which I'm bringing the cake to around 7:30. Other than that, my son and I will just be lounging around!
