First Stacked Cake - Please Help

Ok, this is my first stacked cake. I am making it for a friend who wants to pick it up Wednesday morning. I just make cakes for friends and family I do have a full time job. Therefore, I would love to complete the cake tonight. Can I completely stack the cake tonight and let it sit all day tomorrow? I plan on putting several dowels in each layer along with a long dowel down the middle of the cake.

If it is well dowelled and you don't plan on moving it around, stacking tonight should be fine. icon_smile.gif

Plus, you have to put a board between each layer too.
