Trying to figure out if I want the 3/4" or 1" impression mats from Cakes by Sam website. Does the size refer to the size of the dot or the distance from dot to dot? Not sure if I am explaining myself clearly! I don't usually make huge cakes probably not more than 12" so not sure what size to get. Please advise as order is pending. Thanks!

It refers to the distance. I have both. first I got the 3/4" but then decided that I wanted the 1" because there were less dots and more spaced out.

Can I make a suggestion? Earlene Moore sells the impression matts slightly cheaper than Cakes by Sam. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks, Rachel, always appreciate saving a little money...just means I can spend more somewhere else!
