Has Anyone Seen A Template Of Ballet Slippers?

want to make a ballet cake for my daughter's recital. I was thinking about carving a small sheet cake into the shape of 2 ballet slippers.
Has anyone seen a template I can use to trace to make these? I can try it freehand, but not quite sure how it will look when I'm done with it. Never carved a cake before.
Also, any tips on what to do about icing all the raw edges all the way around the cake? Will a crumb coat do it? I'm using buttercream.
