Just learned a very valuable lesson........ I ordered some "edible pearls" from a cake site....... well, just because they say edible doesn't mean they are Fondant....... These are HARD dragees.... they are pearl colored, but I wouldn't want anyone breaking their teeth on them! I think I heard there is a way to soften them up..... anyone know what it is ?

Nope they cannot be softened. They are hard candy basically. I actually really enjoy working with them.
