How do I achieve a full sheet cake size in a standard oven? What is the correct size of a full sheet cake... and can I achieve it using other pans. I have had several requests, but have had to make a 1/2 & 1/4 cakes to get the amount of servings they needed. Karen

Unless you have a mega large oven , you'll never get a full sheet pan in there (not sure they even make them for domestic use!). You'll need to put either 2 1/2 sheets side by side or 4 1/4 sheets together to get a full sheet (glued together with frosting). I believe the full sheet size is 24 x 18in!

Most people use the 12x18 for the half sheet pan and put two 12x18's together for a whole sheet.

There really isn't a standard size, but that's what most people on here use I think!
