Okay, making fondant dotted wedding cake, with Wilton already made bow. The bride has asked me to deliver. I was going to "drop it off" at reception. Am I supposed to make the table? I am placing the cake on a mirror. I don't know what flowers she is using. I am bringing a former floral designer with me. Do you all think we should "do our own thing" or just leave the cake there?

It is this Saturday.

I would expect that the table for the cake would already be set up and ready for you to put your cake on it and go. I've only done 3 weddings, though... anybody else?

Just do your own thing...If she wanted it any other way, I would have thought she would have specified. Personally, I'd play it by ear, they may have the table set up already then you can just drop it off.

This is something that has to be discussed beforehand. Most caterers supply the table decorations.

That's something you need to discuss with the bride. Normally, the cake is all I take care of, unless it is specifically discussed beforehand.
