Anyone ever attempted one this large? I have idea for a cake but don't want to go down this road if an FBCT that large is out of the question...

Yes, I have. The entire top of this cake is a FBCT.

If you check my photos, I did a 11x15 cake with an elmo fbct. It did crack at the neck when I placed it on the cake but it was only my second time doing a bct and I think I made it too thin. I think it will be fine if you decide to do one that large.

I just did one a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have any problem with it except when I put the blue background on and tried to smooth it falt it moved the picture a little. Superman's face was a little messed up.

I've done one too. It was tricky to flip it over, but just make sure you make it thick enough and be very careful. Also, flip it out as soon as you take it out of the freezer.

Good luck!

I've never tried one that large; but would think that it would be easier to just place the cake onto the transfer.

I did a full 16x24 sheet size of snow white ( I will try and post it) it was a challenge to my patience- but it was good to have that experience under my belt -so too speak! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
