Colored Sides

I am making a sheet cake(Pokemon) for a friend and she wants the sides to be green, red and blue with yellow shells on top and bottom. I am worried that it may turn out too much like a clown cake. Has anyone ever done a cake with different colored sides? I hope I explained this right.

I've only done cakes with one color on the sides and one color on the top. Not different colors on different sides

I've seen a Wiggles cake done with different colored sides. It was really cute, IMO. I would personally do what the customer requests, it is her cake and she is paying for it.
