I just started making cakes and this is my first cake I made for a paying customer. I know I undercharged butI have never had any cake decorating classes or instruction, everythign I have learned I learned from reading online and making my kids birthday cakes. So I didn't feel right charging too much, BUT now that it is done I realizes that I sold myself short, just because I do not have any classes or "formal training" doesn't mean I am not darn good at it! Anyway I am in Tennessee so I am not sure if that makes a difference for the cake pricing market, but what would you all recommend I should have charged for this cake? It is a 9inch bottom and 6 inch top both 2 layers with 1 layer buttercream filling. cake covered in buttercream and decorated with fondant and buttercream, baby was hand sculpted from fondant and ladybug pillars are also fondant. thank you for any help!

Depending on your market, you could have charged $60 - $100 for that. Super cute, great job!

You did an excellent job! I'd easily have charged $100 and not blinked.
