I am making this frosting:
http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipes_id-add_box-2096.html

It calls for 4 ounces of sugar. How do I know how much that would be. I don't have a scale. When it just says sugar I assume (you know what happens with that) that it means white sugar and not powdered am I correct? I have just never made a bc with white sugar always powdered.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like granulated sugar and 8oz = 1 cup so if you have a 1 cup measure then divide in 1/2.
