I have a purse cookie cutter that I think is an odd shape. It looks like a purse, but I don't really know how to decorate it. Has anyone else made purse cookies? I looked in the gallery and didn't see any, but I really want to make them for my boss.

That is the cutter I have..... I know to use my imagination but I just can't see a cute purse!!!

I think I've usually seen that kind of purse in tapestry fabric and beaded with and without "jangles" (you know, the stringed long beads).

I see that cookie iced with MMF and use a skewer to make a diamond pattern- like the diamond impression mat. Little pearls where the diamonds meet, and the top "metal" part done in black.

I agree about the long dangling beads!

Here are some purse cookies. They are not the same shape as your cutter but you can modify the designs to fit yours.

I have the same cutter and never could figure out how to make a cute cookie from it. I searched online and this is what I came up with.

Oh heck, I didn't even look at your cookie cutter. LOL! Maybe you can get an idea for the fabric part from them anyway. icon_redface.gif

Here's a few pictures of some actual coin purses. I had one of these as a child. I wish I still had it. I loved that little thing.. hehe

I hope this helps!
