icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif Thanks to the great tips on CC I solved 2 of my biggest cake decorating problems in one weekend. I have HUGE crumb issues and the Wilton Cake Release took care of that. So thanks for the tip, guys! And then I had major air bubbles in my BC since they changed the Crisco---I was about to go completely crazy. I was almost to the point of only doing fondant cakes because I could not get smooth frosting, but then I read the BC post about using 1/2 butter, 1/2 Crisco . So I tried that this weekend and it worked perfectly. So THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR AMAZING ADVICE!!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Now, you can just teach me how to write on cakes, I will be all set!! icon_confused.gif

You mean, so your writing isn't all squiggly? Or going up hill? Or looks like a child wrote it? I could go on.......the(my) possibilities are endless when it comes to writing on a cake!!!! Writing on a cake neatly....what a breakthrough that would be!!!!

Many people use the pin prick method. They print out they type in a font they like and pin prick it place it on the cake and then follow the dots.

Use these and your fondant/gumpaste letters will be perfect. There are sets for upper case letters and italics too.
