I think it takes something like 9 cups of batter. I used 2 cake mixes and it turned out fine. You wouldn't think all of that batter would fit, but it does!

I just received my long loaf pan in the mail from Wilton and the tag that came with it says that it takes about 9 cups of batter and that 1 cake mix is usually 4-6 cups of batter. Can't wait to use mine - I will be making a bowling alley for my grandson and another cake will be a flower box with green icing for grass and flower cookies on sticks. What are you making with that pan?

My Granddaughter is being married in August, and her husband-to-be, and his family own and operate a dairy farm and bulk milk transport..... SOOOO... I'm TRYING to make a semi-tank truck for his groom's cake. On the SugarCraft site, they have a sample of one..... except it is a van. I'm experimenting on a couple of modifications ( which translates to "I have NO idea" what I'm doing) LOL!
The bowling alley sounds GREAT... what fun! ....... I hope you can post a picture when you get it done.....
