Hi all,
I need to make a birthday cake for a friend and have no ideas on a set design as to where to start. She really likes Victorian things, books and flowers - any ideas? I did a searh for Victorian Cake and not many photos.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.![]()
What if you did a victorian coffee table or a dressing table, and put some books and a vase of flowers on it?
Hope somebody has some more ideas for you...
Hi there! I did a web-search and at the Instyleweddings.com site, they have an image of a very beautiful wedding cake that is a victorian theme. I would also suggest doing an internet search for victorian christmas balls/ornaments. My grandmother had a friend that would make them for her and they were gorgous! Looking at some of them may give you added inspiration!
Good luck!
Suzanne
Here is the web-address to the picture.

Sorry, I don't know how to attach a link to it.
This was my interpretation of a victorian theme. You could do a smaller version, or just one tier.

I also did 2 stacked hat boxes that have a victorian feel. You can see that in my photos, too.
