Air Brushing With Luster Dust

Can I use anything besides alcohol to mix with luster dust to air brush something? Maybe vanilla or water?

I haven't used my airbrush yet, but I use luster dust quite often mixed with almond extract. I love the smell. You can definitely use vanilla but I'm not sure about the water. Seems that it would make whatever you are spraying wet. I wouldn't try it. Maybe someone else has but it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Almond makes it clumpy and if you use that in your airbrush it will get clogged. I find that it is not nice and smooth when you use almond. It does not have a very high alcohol content which you need so it dries. Citrus like lemon can be used. you need to clean the airbrush right away because it will get dried up inside.
