Anyone? Fabric ribbon to fondant covered board? Help please?

I would use gumpaste glue which is taking a pea size of gumpaste and dissolving it in a teaspoon of water. Paint some on the back of your ribbon and then hold your ribbon in place for a few seconds. This should do the trick.

On the back side, I put two straight pins through the ribbon into the board (one towards the top and one towards the bottom). Then I pull it really tight and turn the cake on my turn table until I've just barely overlapped the first two pins. Then, I insert two additional pins. I cover them with a tailored bow and attach it with hot glue. I love the this finished look and I used this method on the first four cakes in my photos.

Of course, if you're using a real board made from wood, this won't work ha ha (I use foam board).
