Ok.. i have an order for next week... this man i used to work with.. excellent man, awesome wife and kids.. and hes leaving to Iraq.
this one i am doing for free, but i want to make it a good cake!!
i thought about doing the whole cake a flag.. but.. is there anymore ideas out there??
do you know how long he will be gone???? if you know when he is coming back then you could do a calendar page and have that date circled witha heart or something. i dont know just an idea. the flag idea is cute though.
i like the flag idea too. I was thinking of taking the 1/2 sheet.. do a flag on it... but leave some of the side white.. and write a little message.
I just dont like the idea of the Red. i NEVER have luck with red!
There is a bakery here that sells americolor. i need to drive over there and pick it up... i hope it works better than wiltons!
