I'm wondering how to do a marble cake---yellow batter with chocolate batter swirls in it? I usually take a little bit of my yellow batter, add some cocoa powder to it and swirl. However, lately the chocolate swirls have been a bit dense/heavy. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

I have done it that way. I've also used the white almond sour cream cake, then mixed in melted chocolate or chocolate syrup to a portion. Then drop spoonfuls on top and swirl in. icon_smile.gif

I usually make seperate batters - I always have chocolate batter left, but I just bake it and freeze it for future use and cake balls!

The last time I made it, I dropped chocolate batter first, then poured some yellow over it, then dropped more chocolate over the yellow and swirled it all together. This ensured that the chocolate was all the way through, instead of towards the top.

Good luck! icon_smile.gif
