Hello,

I would like to try the adding of a box of the instant pudding to a box of the cake mix. Do I need to add any additional liquids? Or will it be ok as is?

THANKS

I read on this site somewhere a while back that if you add pudding, it is best to add and extra egg and replace the water with milk, even adding some. Did you try searching the forums or looking for the enhanced cake recipe(s)? You should be able to find more info in those places.

When adding a package of pudding to your cake mix the only thing you need to do is add an extra egg. You do not have to change the water to milk, unless you prefer milk to water in the cake mix. And I have never had to add any extra liquid to it.

I usually add a little extra milk to mine to make it a little thinner. I think if you use water you don't have to add extra but I find when I use milk and pudding I need to add extra milk.

I add an extra egg and sometimes cut back on the amount of water/milk. I LOVE the devil's food pound cake recipe on the side of the DH chocolate fudge mix. It comes out so fudgy and yummy. icon_razz.gif I usually add some extra flavoring to my mixes too.
