HELP!!!
Please.....what's the baking time for a 6 inch round....it's already in the oven............ icon_surprised.gif

I do my about 25-30 mins @325, then I check with a toothpick in the center, if it comes out clean then it is ready, if not I bake a little longer keeping close eye on it. It depends also on how thick it is and also the way your oven heats. If you are baking @350 you may have to check it sooner.

Thank you! I am running around here like a crazy woman..My cupcake
bouquet failed sometime in the night....found cupcakes on my counter top
when I got up this morning. So it was back to the drawing board for a cake needed for tonights school bake sale.

For your future reference, here are four Wilton cake preparation/serving guides:

(Tells you how much batter per 2" or 3" deep pans by size, and also how long to bake at what temp. Also gives you basic frosting requirements and servings sizes (either wedding or party).
