I have a recipe for Beer cake. Has anyone ever made this before? I want to make it for my BF who likes beer. Just wondering how it turns out, if you can taste the beer at all?

I've never tried a beer cake before, but based on my experience with beer bread, yes, you'll be able to mildly taste the beer. Expect a slightly yeasty flavor.
