How Do You Get White Gumpaste To Stay White?

The cross on my First Communion cake (in my photos) was not very white once it dried -kind of a gray tinge to it. Is there something I can do to make the gumpaste dry more white? It didn't really match the white buttercream on the cake.

i dunno, maybe a white dust?

i never compared mine to bc frosting. i hope someone can help

Try mixing small amounts of blue coloring to sugarpste
