Does anyone know how to get rid of water spots on fondant. When I use my brush with water to adhere fonant, sometimes I get a water spot that I can't get rid of icon_cry.gif . When I put luster dust on the cake at the end, it's like putting a highlighter on the spots. Help??????????????/

Take a small ball of fondant and "buff" the water spot with it. I learned this recently from Kathy at Sweet Wise in Nashville. (If it sticks dust it with powdered sugar/corn starch then "buff")

I always keep cornstarch nearby when using water on fondant. As soon as I see a spot of water, I hit it with the cornstarch and it usually disappears. If I don't catch it right away and it's a pretty dry spot, I do the buffing mentioned above.
