Another Quick Question About Gum Paste

Now that I am making another batch of hydrangeas..... I am about to ask a stupid question.. Am I suppose to bunch the little blossoms before they dry or while they are still soft?
I know silly question but I did not know.......

Yep on wires..... ok I was hoping you would be the one to answer because your hydrangeas are drop dea gorgeous!!! My flowers won't be that beautiful but someday I hope to make em as pretty as yours!!!!!
