I have used Wilton's ready made fondant and my kids hate it so I thought I'd make the MMF recipie. Do you use the small marshmallows? (sorry if this is a dumb question, but maybe one is easier than the other.

I always use small marshmallows. I've heard some people say theirs didn't turn out the same with the large ones.

I use the small ones... I love MMF and you will too! It tastes great and is easy to work with.

I have made MMF twice and used only small marshmallows. The small marshmallows come in a 16 oz bag and the larger marshmallows I found were only a 10 oz bag and the recipe I have says 16 oz. Mine has turned out great both times. Good luck to you!

I use the large ones. I have found them in 16 oz bags, but if I can't I just use 1 1/2 bags of the 10 oz. I'm sure when they melt down, they are all the same. BTW, it's so much better than Wilton!!
