How Do You Get Ur Fbct Flat

how do u guys get your fbct so flat and clean looking like they were done i a pencil or something mine look like i used a fat marker!!!!!

i think yours looks good. but if you want to have thinner outline lines, try a #1 or 2 tip.

i've made a few fbcts, but i'm not really all that great at them, so maybe someone else can help?

Your right jescapades. I use a #1 & #2 tip for all of my FCBT's and they come just fine. Also, when coating the back of your transfer, try to use a thinner coating of bc to keep down the thickness of the actual transfer when it's placed on the cake itself. GOOD LUCK!!!

Sorry, but at the moment I only have one pic of my FCBT in my pics. Been trying to get my niece to finish uploading for me, ARGGGHHHHH. It's kinda blurry because it's from my cellphone (the only camera I had on hand at the time) icon_sad.gif

Somebody on this forum once posted that she makes the transfer the size of the entire cake .... frosts the back of the transfer completely to the ends. She had shown the details in pictures. She did a cake of a bridge. When I just searched the galleries, i used the word "bridge" but did not find the cake.

Maybe she will see this and reply or maybe somebody else can find it.
