I have just had a request for a bride doll cake with the wondermold pan. I quoted her $50 since it's a "unusual" or "specialty" type cake. We live in an expensive area. Anyway, I think she just wants the cake without tiers below it. Does the price sound reasonable?

Well that will not feed many people is the only thing, i would ceratinly let them know that. 50 isnt too steep if you do a great amount of detail such as copying the real weddings dress or something. And if you live it in a richie area, GO FOR IT make some big cash! icon_smile.gif Again though, i would just let them know that a classic wonder mold wont yeild much cake at all.

Yeah, I just started thinking about how many it feeds. Since it's only 15, I re-quoted $40 for just the cake, and $10 if she wants an extra layer...

It would be really cute to put the doll on a 10 or 12 inch round single layer deorated like a flowery/grassy field. That would be very cute and feed more and the entire thing would be reasonable at 50 dollars. just my suggetion. Good luck.

I think $50.00 is reasonable,with a bottom layer also.
I saw one at my local grocery store for $45.00 and it was nothing at all, with the oh so lovely fluorescent roses!
