I ordered gumpaste flowers and stars for a cake I need to do from an online company....I would like to make them shine a little with some luster dust. How do I apply the luster dust to the gumpaste??? I have never done this before?? Also can I paint the gumpaste with the color paste if so how do I go about doing that?

Dust the flowers dry with the luster or petal dusts using a soft bristle paint brush. If you want to paint them with color gels, mix in a little bit of a clear extract (vanilla or lemon) or vodka, gin or everclear so that the color gel will dry much quicker to the touch. thumbs_up.gif
