WOW!! I just received a new 5 qt. Kitchen-Aid mixer! My husband ordered it for me for our 10th anniversary which is today. 
I had no idea he was buying it for me. What makes it more special is that he bought the pink one that gives $50 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation... you see, my mother died of breast cancer 2.5 years ago. She was a big baker and he wanted me to think of her every time I use it. Isn't he thoughtful!?!? I'm just so tickled right now! I've never had a Kitchen-Aid before. YAY for me!!

I'm guessing this pink one has to be ordered from somewhere cuz I have never seen one, I did however see a purple one somewhere, not sure if it was KA or not though? I would love the purple one but I would like the pink as well and especially for such a good cause.
congratulations1 Great minds must think alike..DH bought me one yesterday for our 8th anniversary! I told hiim that if I really started doing these cakes I wanted a ka but only the pink one. He found it brand new in the box on Craig's list for less than half what it was in the stores. I can't wait to get started on my spongebob cake tonight!
