My new ka mixer? DH bought me one for our anniversary yesterday, but it is missing the paddle and dough hook. I am not as concerned about the dough hook, but would really like a paddle. do any stores sell the parts, or am I going to have to go through Kitchen Aid?

Do you have a kitchen outlet near you? We have some outlet shops a few hours south of me and their kitchen outlet was loaded with KA products. That's where I bought my extra bowl. Soooooooooo much cheaper than buying it from KA themselves.

Maybe Overstock.com might have some. I have never searched for KA products on there but it might be worth a try.

Thanks, Amy for the tip! there are outlet stores around here, I will take a look at them. Never even thought of Overstock...will peek there, too.

I just tried overstock and couldn't find anything other than the mixer themselves. I'll keep searching.

Definately try the outlets.

Your new KA should have come with those. I would take it back to the store and get both of them for free. Sounds like your box was already opened by someone. Those are standard with all KA.

I bought a replacement paddle through these folks and even with shipping it was cheaper than kitchenaid's price.

You know, I just checked KA's website and they have the burnished one for a dollar more at $14.99. Seem's like that's the ave. price for one. icon_confused.gif
