I am having all sorts of trouble tonight. Cna I mix wilton fandant with gumpaste mix to help it dry? Or do I need gumpaste made up? DOes that make any sense? I am tired, maybe I'll go to bed and try again tomorrow.

Why don't you try a little tonight and see if it does what you want by morning?

If you are talking about the dry powder mix that you add stuff too to make Gumpaste, I'm not sure if that will work.

If you have gum-tex(or gum trag or tylose), that is what you want to add to the fondant in powder form to help harden it faster.

I use tylose powder to harden my fondant and i use the following measurements and have never had a problem with it hardening
- to each 1 1/2 pound of fondant add 3 teaspoons of tylose powder
