Hello Fellow CCers.

I recently attempted a topsy turvy cake, and understood the directions really well. I had 3 tiers, (3-2' cakes in each tier) 14,10, 6. The problem I had was carving the slant of the cakes. I am having the hardest time getting a 2' cake carved to a slant.
I tried carving while frozen. I finally was able to get the slant look, however, it was not very smooth.... ie.. not a gradual smooth slant/slope. It was alot easier with the small 6' cakes, however, trying to slant the larger cakes(14") was the pain.
Anywone have suggestions......I used a sharp knife. I want to attempt the cake again, but would like any help or suggestions.

Thanks so much!
