Left Out Ingrediants, What Will It Do To Cake?

Hi, I am new to these boards and I hope someone can tell me how this cake will turn out. I was mixing three cake mixes and after putting it in the oven I looked at the boxes of mix and realized that I left out 1/4 cup of water and 1 egg white per box. ( I wondered why it seemed a little thick.) I actually was using part of the whole egg recipe and part of the egg white recipe.LOL Does anyone know how this will effect the cake? Should I just make another one?
thanks in advance
It's a cake mix. It's an industrial product with large tolerance for error. Since the batter is very thick, lower the temperature by 25 degrees and increase the cooking time by about 15%. The texture will probably be "pound-cakey" but other than that not much different.
thanks for everyone that replied. the cake is done now and since I was making it for a cub scout graduation I thought that I would go ahead and bake another one and save this one for family. I did cut off a piece and it was crumbly and a little bit dry but not too bad. At least now I will know.
