Is there a different recipe for a cream cheese icing that crusts?

Use the crusing cream cheese recipe on here! It's wonderful. Just make sure all the ingredients are completely at room temp or it won't crust. icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the recipe link. 3 1/2 lbs. of sugar sounds like it makes a lot of icing. Think I can cut the recipe in half? I just need it for top and sides, I'm using a different filling. My normal bc recipe only takes 1 lb. sugar.

Any ideas?

You can cut the recipe in half! That's what I'm going to do today. I'm making a carrot cake for f-i-l for tomorrow!

It does make a lot of icing!

Helendelk-that's for posting the link! My brain wasn't completely on last night!
