Does anyone have good ideas for filling in containers for cookie bouqets to weigh them down so they don't tip over. I've heard fish tank gravel, seems like that should be pretty cheap. Never been in a dollar store, what can you get in there for supplies for bouquets? Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Glass beads- can get anywhere crafts are sold, and at dollar stores, too!

Go to the dollar store.. they have tons of glass beads and river rocks and stuff like that in the craft asile and they are.. well only a dollar for a bag.. LOL. It's cheap and works great. One bag of river rocks can fill the bottom of at least 3-4 small containers.

I always use the glass beads. I get them at my local dollar store and occasionally at WalMart. They work great! I have also considered using dried beans, but I haven't tried that one out yet. icon_smile.gif

Now that sounds like a great idea.

Cute idea! That could be an option on my price sheet! icon_smile.gif I usually use terra cotta pots though- and don't need to weight them down.

I have used dry rice in a zip-lock bag. It's cheap!
