Do I have to dowel fake cakes?

I dowel mine...I just put one right down the center...Its a little harder to get in, but if you sharpen it & use a hammer it goes easier. That way, I know its not going to slide.

Awesome! That's what I had planned to do, but I"m paranoid and wanted to make sure I"m not crazy.
