I am in need of help for a summer themed cake for a 1st grade class! I was thinking of a cupcake cake with a sun with shades that says something like "Be Cool This Summer!" but I am clueless as to what else I can put with the sun. The cake will be in the form of a regular sheet cake. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

there is a great cake in the gallery that is of a pair of flip flops... maybe with the sun u could a bottle of sun block or even a cold drink of some sort

just some ideas:

beach ball

beach chair and umbrella

sailboat

flowers

bumble bees and dragonflies

rainbow

watermelon, popsicles, ice cream cones
