what's a reasonable price for a set? I found a set on ebay for $19.50 but then the shipping is $10.50. Didn't think that was such a great deal. Where can I find them without getting them online? I live in NC about an hour from anything!!! Thanks.

Not sure which minature pans you are looking for, but here is a link to wilton's minature shaped pans: http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=76FCF364-802D-F658-043043B413206D65&fid=76FCF393-802D-F658-00835B710B23734D
so you can see the normal price. Of course if you are an hour away from anything, you'll have to weigh that against the time it would take to drive to a place that carries them, and cost for gas etc.

Are you talking about the set that has a 2,3,4 and maybe 5 inch pans?

If so, Do not by them on ebay!!! They are way overpriced on there! You can get them from Fantes. I'll find the web site in a few.

I just love that site! I keep buying so many different things from them!!! And, the prices are not bad at all!!!

But, what ever you all do, do not get the mini two tiered pan! The one that is all one piece. I bought a few of them and realized it was a dumb thing to do! I could never get the cake out of them!! I tried making them a few different times and each time, big mess!!
But otherwise, all the other items are great!!!

I was tempted to get that, but I ordered the 2", 4" and 6" ones. I just ordered $75 worth of stuff. my husband is going to freak if he sees that coming in. He already thinks I have to many cake supplies.

Thanks everyone! For some reason, once again, I am not being notified when there is a reply to something I'm watching. I've checked my profile, again, and it's OK this time. Don't know what gives. icon_confused.gif

Jamessweetie: when I clicked on the Wilton link you've posted it comes up to Pooh paste colors!

I'll have to check out these websites and I'm sure I'll be making a few purchases. My DH also thinks I have too many cake supplies!!! There is NO SUCH THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had wondered about that one piece tiered pan set but I had a really bad experience with some mini Santa cakes like that. You could have killed someone with those little heads! icon_lol.gif

Thanks again.

Please, don't get the all in one mini pan. I had them as well as others on the post who had negative things to say about them.
