Yesterday I posted that I would be making a whimsical tilted cake in July I am getting things together and checking to see if there is anything I need to purchase, I will be following the instruction that or on this web-site I am having a problem trying to find a 7, and 11 inch round cake pans does anybody have any suggestions.

Use an 8/12 or 6/10. Not really any hard and fast rules on these things, at least imho! icon_smile.gif Make it what you need!

The instruction call for a 6', 7', 8', 9'. 10', 11', and 12 inch pans so I would already be using those size pans

Unless you think you are going to use them again for something I wouldn't spend the money buying them just for this one cake.

You can use an 8in, it would just mean trimming more off. I have seen directions for these cakes done with the same size pans, that were trimmed down at an angle.
