I did this today for a girl at work's dtr. only charged $10.00 for my supplies. My grandmother thinks I'm nuts. I think it is a little busy, but it is for an 8 yr old. Just want to know thoughts, and how much should you charge for a cake like this? well I don't know how to adjust size yet, so I will place in my photo's thanks.

If you go to www.shrinkpictures.com you can upload your photo and shrink it down to 800 pixels or less and then you'll be able to post it here......the photo gallery isn't working right now!

sltoklahoma, I'm looking forward to seeing your cake. Were you able to shrink it enough?

OK lets see if this worked, thanks for the website, that was easier than my nerdy husband explaining to me.
Forgot to say this cake was the wonder mold on top of a star pan. Chocolate cake with cocolate baviarian cream filling and buttercream icing that Ii added melted white chocolate to. This family, likes chocolate. thanks for looking

I would have charged at least 25 for this cake. It is very pretty and I think the girl will love it.

Thanks for that! I usually have to wait for my DH to tell me how to reduce my photo's each time!!! Very frustrating!

yep...sorry bout that...

but I figure 20 for the star cake
and 15 for the wondermold plus another 5 for the doll body thingee icon_biggrin.gif

I recently did a HULA girl Doll cake, stacked on a 12 inch round, all
b/c (grass skirt), graham cracker crumb sand on top of the 12, under the doll, and I used the basketweave tip in a straight up motion *no weave* to make a sort of bamboo/tiki fence effect. I put a silk hibiscus into the side of the bottom layer and covered the cakeboard in hibiscus tablecloth to tie everything together.....Grandma happily paid 67.00 for the cake icon_biggrin.gif

:sigh: now if I had an entire couple days to just sit and post pics lol
yeah who am I kidding I would be on here vegging out in the forums tapedshut.gif

You did a wonderful job. I am sure lots of people at the party will be asking your friend where she got the great looking cake and you will get some more business thumbs_up.gif
