Is there any such thing? Which of the ingredients in fondant can be substituted for organic besides the sugar? And what the heck is Chocopan?

Thanks for your help! icon_biggrin.gif

Easrth Balance for shortening. It's vegan and it's non-trans fat.

I know your question is about organic but I don't know if this matters to you or not but MMF is not vegetarian because marshmallows have gelatin in them. I learned that the hard way.

Not all marshmallows have animal gelitin in it. If you live in an area where you can get kosher marshmallows or the "Fluff" brand marshmallow creme they have vegetable gelatin in it. you can Pm me and i can tell you more about it and what to look for.

Im not sure how you would replace everything to make it organic and have it still the same consistency

Actually I have tried Earth Balance and it worked the same as Crisco. I hate Crisco and I couldn't get anyone to try my cakes or cupcakes when I frosted them with Crisco in the recipe so I found EB. It worked quite well in my Wilton classes too!

I do not suggest anything unless I've tried it first.
