Baking Time For An 11"x15" Cake

Hi - I'm new to cake decorating, although I've been baking all sorts of things for years. I'm going to make a 11x15 cake this weekend and was curious about how much longer than the 9x13 cooking time that is on the box do you usually bake a larger sized cake for? Thanks so much.

I usually set my timer for 38 minutes and add more time if it doesn't test done at that point....

The Wilton year book is a great resource for things like that. They have a chart for all sizes. For the 11x15 it says to bake at 325 for 35-40 min, 11 cups of batter and approx 8 cups of icing to ice and decorate. Hope that helps.
