Is it possible to deliver a 2 tier cake already done or do I have to take the 2 parts separately and put it together, frost edge, etc. once I arrive? I don't have far to travel, but not sure if it's worth the risk to take it already done.
Thanks!

How far do you have to take it? What kind of decoration do you have on it?

Are you using wooden dowels or plastic? All of this can determine how sturdy your cake will be for transport. I have transported to four tier wedding cakes completely stacked and have no issues. The furthest went about 20 miles which isn't really that far especially when it's all highway driving.

I've delivered 3 tier cakes a couple of times, already assembled. The key is to make sure they're cold! If you're really concerned about it, don't chance it, though.
